OVERVIEW The International Recruitment Officer role supports global student recruitment for the Faculty of Applied Science & Engineering at the University of Toronto in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The position is focused on building and strengthening international interest in engineering programs by engaging prospective students, families, and partners worldwide. Through outreach, research, and collaboration, the role contributes to enrolment growth and broader access to engineering education. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Support international student recruitment activities for the Faculty of Applied Science & Engineering – Advance international engineering recruitment initiatives aligned with faculty goals – Advise prospective students and their families on programs and study opportunities – Plan and deliver international recruitment events – Conduct market research related to international student recruitment – Collaborate with colleagues on recruitment strategies – Contribute to efforts that enhance enrolment and improve access for underrepresented groups REQUIREMENTS WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS International recruitment plays a critical role in sustaining globally engaged engineering programs and ensuring diverse perspectives within the academic community.
