OVERVIEW Lone Star College is seeking a Specialist III, Honors & International Education to support the Honors and international education campus office in Houston, Texas. This role focuses on administrative coordination, student support, communication, and assisting with education-related processes connected to admissions, enrollment, scholarships, and travel activities. The position operates under general supervision and includes both advanced and standard administrative responsibilities. The role also involves supporting collaboration across system-wide honors and international education teams while helping maintain efficient office operations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Perform advanced and standard administrative duties for the Honors and international education campus office – Assist students with Honors and international education-related needs – Support admissions and enrollment processes – Coordinate communications for the office and related activities – Maintain databases and records – Support scholarship processes – Support travel processes – Assist with events and outreach activities – Collaborate with system-wide Honors and international education staff REQUIREMENTS – Experience performing administrative duties – Ability to support admissions and enrollment processes – Ability to assist students in an education environment – Ability to coordinate communications and maintain records – Ability to support scholarship and travel processes – Ability to collaborate with honors and international education staff WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS This position plays an important role in supporting students and maintaining effective administrative processes within honors and international education programs.
