OVERVIEW The Assistant Director of Berklee Global supports Berklee College of Music’s international engagement strategy by helping manage global partnerships, student pathways, and worldwide initiatives. Based in Boston, this role combines international education administration, artistic collaboration, and operational coordination within a globally recognized performing arts institution. It is well suited to professionals who enjoy working across cultures, balancing strategic priorities with hands-on program delivery. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Serve as the primary contact for Berklee Global Partners, managing inquiries, program logistics, and campus visits. – Advise students on Credit Transfer Agreements and Transfer to Berklee pathways. – Coordinate events, travel, equipment, and financial processes for Global Partner programming. – Participate as a member of the credit transfer agreement committee. – Lead data management and reporting initiatives, including maintaining dashboards and tracking program metrics. – Support leadership with data analysis to inform strategic decision-making. – Coordinate cross-divisional projects, tracking timelines, budgets, and deliverables. – Provide general administrative support to ensure smooth operations of the Berklee Global division. – Develop, curate, and manage content for the Berklee Global website, email campaigns, newsletters, social media, and print materials. – Supervise student assistants supporting social media and communications efforts. – Collaborate with External Affairs to ensure consistent and engaging digital messaging. – Supervise student employees as needed to support office and program operations. REQUIREMENTS – Bachelor’s degree with 2–4 years of experience in higher education or performing arts management. – Musical training and skill. – Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. – Additional language skills, with Spanish preferred. – Knowledge of international education, recruitment, study abroad, and immigration processes. – Familiarity with office technology, event management systems, and social media platforms. – Ability to work effectively in international and cross-cultural environments, representing Berklee with professionalism and cultural sensitivity. – Willingness to undertake frequent international and domestic travel. – Availability to work evenings and weekends during peak program periods.
