About the Role: As a Team Member at Flinders University Academy, you will be responsible for various tasks related to the admission of international students to the Academy. This includes providing excellent service to prospective international students and international education agents, assessing applications, and issuing offer letters. You should have a comprehensive understanding of the international student enrollment process, including inquiries, assessment, recruitment strategies, and associated Key Performance Indicators. Your key responsibilities will include: – Identifying and addressing inquiries from prospective students, recruitment agents, and University staff in a timely manner. – Assessing and responding to student applications, ensuring compliance with admissions policies and guidelines. – Managing relationships with the Academy’s International Recruitment Agent Partners. – Assisting in the development of new initiatives within the Academy. – Collaborating with relevant stakeholders regarding applications, academic equivalence, credit transfer, quota programs, and other arrangements. About the Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate for this role should possess the following qualities and qualifications: – Demonstrated experience and commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a client-focused team environment. – Strong computer skills, including proficiency in web and computer-based systems and familiarity with Microsoft programs and CRM systems. – Experience working with international students and the ability to communicate effectively in a cross-cultural working environment. – Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills that contribute to efficient operational processes and relationship building. – Knowledge of university program structures, academic policies and procedures, and the ability to interpret and apply relevant university policies and procedures. – Strong organizational skills with a proven track record of meeting operational objectives in a complex business environment. – Familiarity with the ESOS Act, government visa policies, and the National Code as they relate to the assessment and issuance of international student offers. This is a full-time fixed-term position for 3 years. Prescribed Conditions for Employment: The successful candidate must undergo a current Working With Children Check and obtain a satisfactory National Police Certificate before commencing the position. Additionally, Flinders University has implemented a COVID-19 Vaccination Policy, requiring all new staff members to be up to date with their COVID-19 vaccinations, with limited exemptions.
