Position: Administrative Officer (Full-time, Fixed term until November 2024) Salary: Competitive, with great benefits and work flexibility including monthly RDO Location: Convenient CBD location of head office The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) is currently seeking an Administrative Officer to join our Education and Training Department. As the principal organization representing the medical speciality of psychiatry in Australia and New Zealand, we provide a dynamic work environment and excellent training and development opportunities. Responsibilities: – Provide administrative support to the Specialist International Medical Graduate Education (SIMGE) team. – Administer application and interview processes, document control, coordination of candidate assessments, and high-quality information and advice to stakeholders. – Track candidate’s progression on the Fellowship program and assist in the award of qualifications. – Support the planning of meetings related to Specialist International Medical Graduate Education, including agenda preparation and documentation. – Assist in developing and reviewing policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures to improve administrative operations. Requirements: – Relevant qualification or experience in administration or education, preferably in an education setting. – Experience in preparing agendas, recording minutes, and executing action items. – Familiarity with workplace-based assessment tools in a medical context is advantageous. – Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. – Ability to liaise with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds and cultures. – Knowledge of State and Commonwealth regulations and legislation regarding overseas medical specialists.
