We are currently hiring for a Student Recruitment Consultant role in the Future Students department at Macquarie University. The main responsibility of this role is to manage the recruitment of domestic undergraduate students and drive student enrolments to meet the University’s targets.
This is a full-time, continuing role with a hybrid working arrangement. The salary for this position ranges from $104,726 to $113,545 gross per annum (HEW 7), and includes 17% employer’s superannuation and annual leave loading. The role is based at Macquarie University’s Wallumattagal campus in North Ryde.
As a Student Recruitment Consultant, you will be responsible for implementing and delivering recruitment strategies and activities to support the achievement of the University’s undergraduate enrolment targets from schools. This includes organizing events, initiatives, and projects to attract undergraduate students, as well as building relationships with key schools. You will also provide advice to prospective students and their parents on the University’s courses and admissions process.
To be successful in this role, you should have experience in student recruitment within the higher education sector. Strong project management and sales skills are necessary, as you will be developing and implementing strategies to drive recruitment and meet targets. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with various stakeholders are also important.
