University Services is currently hiring for a full-time Senior International Officer position. This role is open-ended and requires applicants to be US citizens or have the right to work in the USA. Unfortunately, the University of Glasgow cannot provide sponsorship for those without citizenship or the right to work in the USA.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone to join the University’s External Relations team as a Senior International Officer, based in the USA. In this role, you will be part of the recruitment team, specifically focused on student recruitment from North America. As a Senior International Officer, you will report to the Country Manager USA and work under the guidance of the International Recruitment Manager, North America, Europe & Central Asia. You will also work closely with the Director and Deputy Director of Recruitment and International Relations, as well as other International Recruitment Managers and Senior International Officers.
Your main responsibility will be to lead student recruitment efforts, with the goal of increasing the number of full-time undergraduate and postgraduate international students from a specific region in the USA (either West or Midwest) to the University of Glasgow. This will involve generating leads, nurturing and supporting applicants, and engaging with key stakeholders in the targeted geographic region within North America.
It is important to note that the regional recruitment breakdown will cover the Southeast & Central region, which includes the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington D.C., and West Virginia. The successful candidate will be required to reside in one of these states.
