Job Description:
Woosong University is currently hiring for the position of International Relations Manager. The main responsibilities of this role are to enhance the university’s global reputation and establish partnerships with well-regarded universities in relevant regions.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Develop and update a comprehensive regional strategic plan to promote Woosong University and achieve global targets set by management.
2. Manage the entire process of signing Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs), including research, communication with partners, online meetings, and course mapping.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with regional marketers from other educational institutions to ensure successful outcomes in terms of MOU quantity and quality.
4. Conduct market research and information exchange to support exchange activities and strengthen Woosong University’s international positioning.
5. Create and implement short-term and long-term development plans for partner universities.
6. Collaborate with regional marketers to establish relationships with educational consultants, high schools, colleges, and public institutions.
7. Maintain communication and collaboration with internal stakeholders and other university colleges.
8. Conduct regular meetings, both online and offline, to provide progress updates, address issues, and report to management.
9. Serve as a communication channel for any issues that may arise with overseas partners.
10. Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Team to develop promotional tools.
11. Represent Woosong University at international fairs, conferences, workshops, and partner university visits.
12. Work full-time in the Global Center office to enhance relationships with international partner universities.
Required Qualifications:
1. Strong experience in International Relations and/or Student Recruitment for higher educational institutions.
2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Knowledge of Korean would be an advantage.
3. Goal-oriented, motivated, and able to work independently and in teams.
4. Proactive and accountable in building relationships and achieving results.
5. Committed to maintaining confidentiality and demonstrating a strong work ethic in a multicultural environment.
6. Must meet the requirements of an E-1 (Professor’s visa) to work at a university in South Korea.
