We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our UniSQ International Portfolio as an International Development Officer. In this role, you’ll play a key part in shaping the future of international research and education at our university.
The UniSQ International Portfolio is responsible for effectively marketing the university and its programs internationally. This includes recruitment and admission of international students, as well as establishing and managing important international partnerships. Our UniSQ International team is recognized as a driving force in attracting international students to UniSQ.
As the International Development Officer, you will be in charge of the day-to-day administration of international research training partnership programs and sponsorship programs. This involves coordinating the Cotutelle program, which allows students to conduct their research across two universities, and managing international research training partnership agreements, scholarships, and arrangements for sponsored students. You will also handle the administration of international sponsored students’ applications and progressions, as well as coordinate international research-focused workshops.
To excel in this role, you should have relevant administration experience, preferably in a Higher Degree Research or Research management environment. Project management skills are crucial, as you will be responsible for organizing workshops and events. Additionally, you should be proficient in working with complex databases, interpreting and reporting on data, and building and managing relationships with diverse stakeholders. Knowledge of complex legislation, rules, policies, and procedures is essential.
