### International Admissions Specialist

**Location:** Moscow
**Division/College:** Vice Provost for Strategic Enrollment Management

**Pay Range:** $20.31 per hour or higher, commensurate with experience

**Position Summary:**
This role is responsible for compiling critical, confidential file documentation and evaluating academic records. The position includes determining eligibility for admissions, assigning appropriate admissions decisions, and assisting telephone and walk-in clients.

**Duties may include:**
– Coordinating international admissions processing
– Researching complex materials
– Providing international student advising and assistance during the admissions process
– Ensuring compliance with immigration laws and preparing immigration forms
– Other duties as assigned

**Minimum Qualifications:**
– High School Diploma or equivalent
– Experience in:
– Interpreting and applying laws, rules, and procedures
– Identifying, researching, and correcting errors for multiple or complex programs
– Interacting with or providing services to persons of various social, cultural, economic, and educational backgrounds
– Entering and retrieving data using a computerized record system
– Composing and proofreading business correspondence

**Preferred Qualifications:**
– Bachelor’s Degree
– Excellent written communication skills as demonstrated in application materials
– Some knowledge of international educational systems
– Intermediate typing, word processing, and computer skills
– Work experience in a college or university setting
– Knowledge of UI policies and procedures, campus facilities, and student support services
– Experience with the Banner administrative database system
– Familiarity with student records and the organization structure of higher education institutions
– Ability to work professionally with the public and university staff/faculty
– Excellent telephone etiquette and communication skills
– Familiarity with Microsoft Word, spreadsheet software, e-mail, and web-based research
