Position: International Admissions Administrator
Employment: 0.6fte (3 days/22.5 hours per week)
Location: College Lane Campus, University of Hertfordshire, Hatfield
Annual leave: 25 days standard public holidays additional 4 days (including office closure between Christmas and New Year)
We are seeking a proactive and talented International Admissions Administrator to join our International Office team. This role involves supporting our international admissions function and contributing to the recruitment and commercial activities of the International Office.
Primary responsibilities include assessing and processing international and EU applications, issuing offers, clearing academic and English language conditions, and maintaining communication with international and EU applicants via phone and email. You will be assisting applicants throughout the application process and collaborating with academic admissions tutors to ensure timely and accurate decisions. Additionally, you will work closely with the international recruitment team to develop a strong understanding of overseas qualifications and education systems.
To excel in this role, you must possess excellent organizational and IT skills. Prior experience in international admissions administration is essential. We require someone who is dedicated to delivering high-quality service, with strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities. Experience in a target-driven environment and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service are also preferred. Familiarity with student record systems, knowledge of international or EU qualifications, or fluency in a foreign language would be advantageous.
Applicants must hold a minimum of A-Levels or an equivalent qualification, or possess extensive experience or proven professional work experience.
