University of Leeds – Faculty of Business – Work and Employment Relations Department currently has a job opening for a part-time position with a focus on generating an evidence base about organizations supporting migrant workers in West and South Yorkshire, specifically in the warehousing sector. The successful candidate will work closely with the University of Leeds team on the Humans in Digital Logistics project, which explores the impact of technology on warehouse work. This position is funded independently by the Leeds University Business School Impact Engagement and Support Fund. The candidate will be based at Migrant Action, a migrant support charity in Leeds, and will receive support from both the charity’s CEO and researchers at the University of Leeds. The position is a fixed-term contract for 20 weeks, starting in July 2024, with a working time of 2 days per week (0.4FTE).
